COURSE DESCRIPTION :
In this course you will learn about U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. The United Nations SDGs are a set of 17 goals established by the UN in 2015 to eliminate poverty, end hunger, protect the environment, and promote peace and prosperity for all. The goals are interconnected and cover a wide range of economic, social, and environmental issues affecting communities worldwide. They provide a framework for countries, organisations, and individuals to work towards creating a sustainable future for all. In this course you can learn about the specific goals, their targets, and indicators, as well as the progress made towards achieving them. You will also learn about the role of different stakeholders, including governments, civil society, and the private sector, in ensuring sustainable development. And lastly, learn about the challenges and opportunities associated with achieving the SDGs and the need for collective action to address them.
